One of the founding members of the USGA, the Shinnecock Hills Golf Club has hosted nine USGA with this year’s US Open being the 10th championship, including six US Opens. The Club has hosted a US Open in three different centuries.
As the author of the only biography of golf course architect William Flynn and a multi-decade involvement in the long-range restoration and master plan of the golf course, I have been in high demand for digital and print interviews.
